Marketing Tips: Email Advertising

We need to think about what we send before we're sending it. Here are a few tips to help you with building your promotions:

If you promote with a large opt-in list, you should only send mails when you actually have something new or important to share.

Develop several targeted lists of audiences, you could have a list of paying customers and nonpaying customers (very important), geographic location, age, and gender. This will lead to much more targeted advertising, these are essential to everything.

You also need a privacy policy, this is the most important. When your subscribers sign up, are all of their necessary information being recorded: the date, time, full name, and IP addresses? Are they able to unsubscribe?
